Three Paths – One Journey Seminar (5/3 – 5/4)

The Journey
     Three teachers with various backgrounds come together during the weekend to share their experience and vision of martial integrity. Though diversified in their training and methodology, they share a common goal of developing the peaceful warrior.
  Three Paths
     Yoshi Shibata has an extensive background in Karate, Ogawa ryu, Yawara, Judo, Jujitsu and Aikijujitsu. He has spent the last 25 years practicing, teaching and researching Aikido. He will be covering:
  •  Mind
  •  Energy
  •  Structure
     Dan Messisco began training in 1964, in Tang Soo Do and Aikido. He has traveled numerous times to Korea and Japan to further his training and has led seminars around the US, as well as other countries. He will be covering:
  • Practicing Aikido with an Absolute perspective
  • Martial ukemi
  • Grace as the foundation of effortless power

     Thong Nguyen came from a martial arts family with a lifetime of training in Asian and Western arts. Thong founded KaizenTao, a martial art which melds 40 years of dance expertise with martial science. He trains a wide spectrum of clients ranging from professionals at the forefront of national security to dedicated martial artists, and civilians. He will be covering:

  • Full Mobility
  • Effortless Balance
  • Free Creativity

The Aikido & Health Center of Roseville dojo is located 40 minutes from Sacramento International Airport (SMF)
For those wishing to stay overnight at the dojo, we have mat space available. Please note there are no showers on the premises, and contact the organizer if interested.  For those seeking hotel accommodations, there are many in the local area that have rates for the weekend around $100 / evening.
